A belated review of my visit to the West Point Museum in 2024. If you are interested in military history, I highly recommend visiting this museum. The exhibits are rich and impressive, ranging from military equipment from different historical periods to valuable historical documents. What moved me the most was seeing the original 1945 Japanese Instrument of Surrender up close. Standing in front of it, history no longer felt like words in a textbook, but something real that had truly happened. This visit gave me a deeper understanding of the cost of war. Learning about war is not about glorifying it, but about cherishing the peace we have today.Very worth visiting, and also worth taking your time to explore:):):)

Mar 23, 2026 · Google ReviewBest to allocate at least 45 minutes to full appreciate the displays and the story behind Westpoint. There are also interactive sections that kids find entertaining while they learn. My fave area’s the one that talks about the education and various physical activities the trainees go through like learning how to go through the obstacle courses, swimming, survival lessons, etc. Make the time to drop by the store also for some souvenirs. Hopefully, can go inside Westpoint itself and watch the drills.
Jan 13, 2026 · Google ReviewVery rich history in museum, with spectacular items, such some of Goring’s personal items (like his baton), antiques, travel through US history. Was in construction when I visited, but definitely worth a visit. Plus, it’s free! 😄👍
Mar 30, 2026 · Google ReviewMy experience at the West Point Museum was absolutely amazing. The history inside those walls is powerful from the early wars to the more modern conflicts, every exhibit is full of meaning and detail. The collection of guns, uniforms, and historic artifacts is impressive, especially knowing that many soldiers and families personally donated jackets, weapons, and memorabilia. Walking through the museum feels like going back in time and truly understanding the sacrifices made for our country. It’s educational, emotional, and inspiring all at once. I highly recommend the West Point Museum to everyone. Whether you love history, military heritage, or just want to learn something new, this place is a must visit.
