Mel BrousseauStayed here for one night while visiting West Point to attend a wedding. This historic hotel has great views of the Hudson, and is covered in military pictures. Parking is complimentary, and valet is available. For an extra fee, you can add breakfast to your stay, which is a nice buffet of hot and cold items. The hotel offers a lovely, spacious rooftop bar with great views, various seating options, fire pits and (when we stayed) a dj. Our room was spacious, with a separate sitting area and mini-fridge. A complimentary goodie bag was a nice welcome, and included earplugs. Very clean, easy check in and out, walkable to a variety of restaurants and beautiful grounds. NOTE: To tour West Point, you need state identification and may need to go to the visitor's center for additional clearance.

William PatakyBeautiful hotel on the grounds of West Point. The rooms are all very well appointed. There is a nice restaurant as well as a casual bar/restaurant. The rooftop zulu time bar a a great time in the warmer months. Whether it's for an army football game or for a night away the Thayer is a great place to stay.

Stacy HWe chose The Thayer for our wedding and it was simply gorgeous. Our venue coordinator Heather was great and our wedding weekend coordinator, Talia, was exceptional. The whole weekend was wonderful thanks to the attentive staff and the meticulous organization of Heather & Talia. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing wedding. The hotel is spectacular and we got the most amazing photos around the grounds that look like they are from another country. So Beautiful!

Suzie BauerWhat a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend staying here. There is so much history. The beds were comfortable. The dining and bar were wonderful as well. The convenient proximity to everything at Westpoint was amazing as well.
