Ddsh 1This is a nice park to visit during the day. I repeat, during the day. Make sure the sun is up. I grew up here so I see it as normal but I've been told that it's "ghetto" across the street at the store troubled people tend to hang out but they don't traverse the park too often. At night, it's just sketchy, in my opinion, between any deals going down and people just hanging out in the park even though it's closed. Those are usually drunks. During the day, it's an amazing place to take the kids due to numerous play stations. There's swings, slides and full jungle gyms. If you play Pokémon go, there are a ton of pokéstops and gyms in the park and surrounding area.

MarieThe equipment could definitely use some TLC but I loved how there was a play area specifically designed for children ages 2-5. My child was able to fully enjoy themselves. The grounds seem to be maintained nicely as well. Although across the street is some sort of store where some people were loitering which can be a unsettling when you have children playing and walking to school near by. It makes you wonder what these people are doing hanging around smoking amongst other things at 8:30am on a school day while kids are around. I wish someone would enforce some rules about this.
