Nicholas AFirst time in, went for lunch with 6 + a newborn and a dog, sat outside and tried: basically every "wurst," the pretzel, perogies, deviled eggs, schnitzel sandwich, potato pancakes, sauerbraten, apple strudel, and a few different beers & mustards. I don't know what I like best, it was all seriously delicious - I don't leave reviews, but these guys deserve a great one. The staff was also super nice and helpful - 2 waiters and I think we met the owner (or manager?), I/we cannot say one remotely bad thing about the experience. Will definitely be back!

Jim QEverything about Franzel was fantastic. Warmly greeted by Taylor at the bar who also served as waitress. So extremely pleasant and attentive with awesome suggestions. Presentation was perfect and drinks outstanding. This place is great! I had the traditional schnitzel (over truffle fries)- girlfriend went with Black Forest Chicken. Both were spot on.

Tyler SearchI was able to get a “seize the deal” discount voucher, so I figured I’d give it a try. The food was good overall, but the Black Forest cake dessert was awful and not worth $12. It was super dry. If I had eaten it there and not taken it to go, I would’ve said something. The waitress was also very nice and cheerful.

Debra RacinoMy husband and I went to a late lunch today at Franzel. One of the best meals I have ever had !!! Our server, Taylor was an absolute joy, the portions are huge & the sauerbraten & rouladen, incredible !! I got a piece of black forest cake that would feed 3 people & delicious !! We can’t wait to go back. We always loved Mountain Brauhaus, but it’s a 45 minute drive for us & Franzel was every bit as good, maybe better 😉

Peter GareaWe happened to be in the area for something else and decided to stop by. Wow this is probably the best German food I've ever had. Everything was delicious, well seasoned, and extremely flavorful. Not to mention the staff was very kind. I can't wait to go back. We started with the pretzel. Did the schnitzel and the mix. Potato dumplings were also great. Everything was just so good 🇩🇪🍖
