Cornerstone Theatre Arts is proud to present our November show, “Silent Sky” by Lauren Gunderson!
In this inspiring true story, Henrietta Leavitt navigates the rigid constraints of a 1900s Harvard Observatory that won't even let her touch a telescope. Working in the margins of the night, she battles societal expectations, failing health, and the vast unknown to unlock a cosmic secret that changed our understanding of the cosmos forever.
Bursting with sharp wit, romance, and visual poetry, this show is a soaring celebration of human curiosity that will leave you staring at the night sky in absolute wonder.
“Silent Sky” is directed by Joe Barra, assistant directed by Marianne Ciuffetelli, and features Emma Jorgensen, Kathleen Coyle, Dylan Parkin, Cynthia Topps, and Joan McCabe, with Lighting Design by Ralph Zaccagnino and Sound Design by Joan McCabe.
