Ashley RobbinsThe Parkway House is truly a gem for families heading to Legoland and the Goshen area. You get to be super close to the park, but with all the warm and personal comforts of a true bed & breakfast. Our suite had plenty of space for the whole family, from kids to grandparents, that made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The view from the deck overlooking the historic Goshen horseracing track was an added bonus of the suite, especially when it came to sunset! The entire suite was super clean and cozy, perfect for both making memories together and resting after long adventure-filled days. Perhaps the best park of the Parkway House, though, was breakfast time. Emily (and Betty!) did an amazing job providing everyone with a delicious, home-cooked meal with different options each day. She made sure to personally go around and ask everyone what they liked and wanted more of and made sure everyone was full and happy! It was also great to mingle with the other guests. We got to meet people from all over the country and even pick other families’ brains for Legoland tips! Being the self-proclaimed “family vacation planner,” as thrilled as everyone else was with the amenities of the Parkway House, I was equally as thrilled with the communication from Emily and how all the small touches made our stay so incredibly easy. I know I found a great place in the Parkway House because my family has already been asking when we are going back! Thank you, Emily and the Parkway House, for some lifelong memories!

Stephen FarrellThis place is incredible. Dave and Emily have created a special experience with the Parkway House. We stayed in the barn and it was perfect for our group of 10(4 adults, 6kids). The breakfast in the morning is amazing with fresh fruit, homemade pancakes, coffee cakes, bacon, eggs all made by Emily and her daughter. If your group is going to Legoland this place is the place to stay.

Brittany BiernackiMy husband and two sons stayed at Parkway House May 28-30 as a base for our two day tickets to LEGOLAND NY. It was WONDERFUL. Our room was suite #2 which was at the front of the Inn on the second floor overlooking the historic race track. In the morning, multiple horses would be training around the track and it was so beautiful to watch. The suite was exactly as described. It was spacious, detailed, gorgeous and probably the nicest place we have stayed. The whole Inn is beautiful. Emily (the owner) was quick to respond to any text I sent. Danielle, was there for our stay. She made an excellent breakfast for us on both Friday and Saturday morning. Everyone was so welcoming and I could tell from speaking with Danielle that the owners built this Inn to bring people together, to do something they loved. If you are traveling with kids, I highly recommend this over any of the other chain hotels in the area. My boys were elated to have their own bed, they couldn’t believe how massive our suite was and we were all able to enjoy space but also togetherness for our short trip.

Christopher LooramStayed at The Parkway House in Goshen this week with my family and it was excellent. We booked the Historic Horse Barn room, which was spacious and perfectly suited for traveling with young kids. Clean, comfortable, and full of character. The full kitchen and laundry room were a huge convenience, and made a real difference traveling with little ones. Emily, our host, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, and quick to help with anything we needed. The pancake breakfast was a highlight and my kids are still talking about it. The location is hard to beat. Everything in Goshen is a short walk or drive away, which made getting around effortless. There was a personal angle for us as well: I grew up about a hundred yards from the property, so staying here brought back a lot of good memories. Seeing the place restored and run this well was a treat. If you are looking for a family-friendly bed and breakfast in Goshen with historic charm and a great host, The Parkway House is worth booking. We would stay again without hesitation. Five stars.

Amanda WeymouthEmily is such a gracious host! The room was large, clean and cozy and perfect for our stay in Goshen! The instructions for check in, breakfast and checkout were clear and very helpful and breakfast was delicious. My daughter loved the pancakes and strawberries and the ability to chat and learn the history of the house and race track. We walked to dinner and enjoyed the historic houses and the budding trees bringing the smell of warming spring. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend yo anyone in the area!
