This is my second time visiting this spot, and I absolutely love it! The food is amazing, the service is outstanding, and the overall experience has been great every time. Our waitress, Amanda, was phenomenal. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
Jul 26, 2026 · Google ReviewWhat a gem we found in New York! We stumbled upon this place after a hike and ordered takeout to bring home. We got the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, and everything was delicious. The baby back ribs were my favorite...they were incredibly tender, juicy, and practically fell off the bone! We will definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area.
Jun 19, 2026 · Google ReviewI wanted to like this place more but... I believe that this is the first location for these brothers BBQ restaurants. I was a customer over 10 years ago. I heard that they had a major fire 🔥. I had a craving for the smoke ring and went to their now closed mall location. In my opinion, the food was much better at the mall. There is ample parking at the restaurant. Outside there are signs that are peeling on the building like the place has such exceptional food inside that they don't have to give a damn about appearance. That is not true at all. Inside the place looks nice and I are glad that they recovered well from the fire. Ample seating and spaced well. There is a small stage so I assume that they have live shows like in the good old days. We were seated quickly and then everything slowed down to a snails 🐌 pace. There were at least 3 servers working. They zipped by our table of 3 without acknowledging us or saying a word for what seemed like forever. My group had driven for over an our to get here and we were hungry! Once we ordered burnt ends for the table and 3 orders of the 3 meat combos the wait began again. This was a looooog wait! We did get cornbread for the table. The cornbread was not hot at all and the butter that came out with it was iceberg cold. Don't try to spread it. You will make a comical mess trying. Just before loss of consciousness the food arrived. The best thing we all agreed were the sides. The collard greens were perfect 👌 reportedly the baked beans 🫘 and the grits were excellent. The candied yams were a little hard and undercooked but still very tasty. Unfortunately the brisket and ribs were both dry and perhaps overcooked. The chopped BBQ was not chopped! This was some lazy or unknowingly poor pulled pork facsimile. Chopped BBQ is supposed to be chopped fine. Take your time and do it right for the people. They do have a great table BBQ sauce that manages to somewhat bring the meats back to life but only somewhat. I am so happy that I did not order the full slab of baby back ribs like I had intended. At a whopping $45 I would have been totally turned off. If you don't know good southern BBQ you might love this place. If you do know better, you heard it first from me. I wish them all the best. Check them out. Your mileage may vary...
Jul 21, 2026 · Google ReviewGreat dinner at Brothers Barbecue. Laid back vibe (the aesthetic meat videos on the big screen took a second to get used to lol) and excellent service by Britney. Brisket was a fave, and honestly this was the most southern cornbread I've had up north (this is a big compliment). Loved the NC style pork, too. House sauce is very sweet, just FYI. Good local beer selection.
Apr 28, 2026 · Google ReviewI came to the restaurant after shopping knowing I want to support a local business. Warm and friendly staff. Had asked for lemonade. I don’t know what that is it taste like a flat lemon no sugar. Ordered the fried chicken with two sides Mac and cheese with yams. The food looked okay. I knew the Mac did not have any taste when it was placed at my table. I was right. The fried chicken was good. I enjoyed the bbq sauce. The candied yams were sweet for sure. Definitely will not order the Mac and cheese taste more rue than cheese. Greatly sadden. I will comeback for the chicken. Maybe a third time will be a charm.
