Teri TJSThis was my first time at Taste of Trini. I traveled close to an hour because she had great reviews. It was worth the trip❣️ The chef and owner has such great, energy , and you can taste it in her foods❣️ Every bite was layered with bold, authentic tastes. For me, it made me emotional because it brought back childhood memories, the kind you didn’t realize you missed until the first taste❣️ She doesn’t just cook for her customers, she feeds them❣️This isn’t just food-it’s comfort, culture, heritage, and heart on a plate.❣️ Her grandmother would be SO PROUD of her, and her grandchildren 🦋

Joble ThomasWhen I first walked it, the smell hits you and it smelled awesome. I got the double and it was a solid quick meal. I didn’t realize it was only $4 for it! Adam who was in front, was very passionate and has great hospitality. It seems he takes pride helping the family with the restaurant. Will definitely comeback again

Ay OGreat service and family owned! Everything’s halal! We ordered the beef patties (delicious), a plate of oxtail (so tender and tasty), and a plate of chicken curry (delicious ).

Yvette TiradoFirst off staff was amazing, Adam was great. Very friendly and helpful. We went for doubles but everything looked so good let's just say we left with double then what we were initially going to get lol The doubles were delicious we had 3 regular and tried a goat double which was super tender. They were so soft and flavorful. The curry crab has a good kick of spice but it was perfect and juicy. The curry shrimp Roti was nice and balance wrapped with potatoes and chana and enough for two people to share. We were about the say that's it but glad we spotted their patties...the beef was good but the curry chicken patty was so well spiced and the chicken nice and soft. We took some corn soup for later which was perfect on this nice rainy day and topped everything off with 2 pieces of cassava cake which was not to sweet and the raisins gave an extra touch of sweet tang, a nice cold Solo kola champagne and their delicious peanut punch ( my new favorite). Definitely a good choice!!! If your looking for good authentic homemade Caribbean food you have to stop at Taste of Trini.
