Ryan MazierskiThe Motorcyclepeida Museum is an awesome museum. The museum displays a large collection of over 750 motorcycles including the world’s largest collection of Indian motorcycles. The museum traces the evolution of the motorcycle through the years. They have a spectacular gallery of motorcycles used in movies and TV. Some of these include Prince’s bike used in the Purple Rain music video, the Fonz’s bike from Happy Days, Batman’s motorcycle from the 60’s TV series, and a motorcycle from Terminator 2. They have motorcycles that belonged to celebrities including Jerry Garcia and Steve McQueen. They even have a motorcycle that was in the motorcade escort of President John F. Kennedy, on the ill-fated day that he was assassinated. They do a great job showing the history of motorcycles. The museum’s Indian motorcycle collection goes all the way back to 1901. They also have a ton of Harley-Davidson models. There is a great collection of WW2 motorcycles as well. Really great looking choppers here as well. Even if you’re not interested in motorcycles it is easy to like this place. Depending on your interest level it is easy to be here an hour or more. Definitely a great place to visit in the Hudson Valley.

Елена ЯкимовичThis is one of the interesting places we visited this summer. The museum us fantastic and the collection is enormous. We did not expect it to be so big and beautiful. I would recommend it for all ages 0 to 100 and everyone will find something interesting. Be prepared to spend more then 2 hours there, so plan ahead. The evolution of the motorcycles starts on the first floor and can be observed thru different eras.

The collection is absolutely massive, and we loved seeing the evolution of Indian motorcycles from 1901 through 1950is—an example from every model year of the original company. The international motorcycles were amazing too, with so many unique and beautiful machines from around the world. Our daughter especially loved the kids’ bike section, which made the visit fun for the whole family. One of the highlights was meeting the owner, who was incredibly humble and personally welcomed us. That made an already special experience even more memorable. We only wish we had more time! There is so much to explore and so much fascinating history to read about these great machines. We will definitely have to come back and spend much longer next time. A must-visit for motorcycle lovers—and even for people who simply appreciate history and engineering!

SLTook my bike enthusiast husband as part of his birthday. We both enjoyed it so much that we will take my brother in law in a few weeks when he visits. Its really great seeing bikes thru the decades. The collection is quite extensive 🏍 🛵

Tyler CarpenterWhat a great experience. Owning and knowing friends with vintage bikes, this is a great collection. Something for everyone, American made or otherwise. The largest selection of Flying Merckles I have ever seen. Reading Standards, Brought Superiors, Ace, Pope, Henderson, Excelsior, foriegn bikes, etc... Plenty of custom art bikes and movie bikes. For $15, you can't go wrong.
