Arianna DingeeFrom the very first moment my husband and I stepped into the venue, we knew it was the one. Everything about our wedding day there was absolutely amazing. The cocktail hour was incredible — our guests are still talking about how delicious and beautifully presented everything was! (And there was a lot of it!) The reception room itself was stunning, spacious, and elegant, and the perfect atmosphere for our large celebration. The food and drinks were exceptional, and the service was great from start to finish. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we truly felt cared for the entire time. We started off working with Sara, and had Margarita as our coordinator. They both made sure everything was spot on for our day. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. The Barn will always hold the most special place in our hearts!

nicole sprovieroWe had our wedding on 5/16/2026 at the Barn at Villa Venezia. We had the BEST time at our wedding. Margherita and her team were amazing to work with from the moment we stepped in the door. Everything exceeded our expectations. We had our rehearsal dinner the night before in the Barrel Room and the wedding in the Cypress Room. They were very responsive and helpful through the whole night. We never had to worry about a thing. We have had many, many compliments about the venue and the food. Everyone loved it and had the best time. We highly recommend having your wedding here!

Kelly KubalaWe couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! The atmosphere was absolutely stunning and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and service. The drop-off and pick-up of our decor was seamless, making everything stress-free. Sara, our venue coordinator, was amazing. She was knowledgeable and so helpful with every question we had throughout the planning process. Sara was extremely accommodating, helping us to order specific liquors and ciders we requested, as well as helping us coordinate having a beer burro on the day of our wedding. Our wedding day was absolutely flawless thanks to this wonderful team!

Connie PRINCIPATOThis was the most beautiful thing you ever experienced. Food was absolutely amazing! Watching the sunset through these large glass windows surrounding the dining hall was stunning and lit by warm light in the interior was the perfect touch!

Hannah MilaniFall 2024, Saturday Wedding at The Barn at Villa Venezia – In-Depth Review Overall Experience: 3.5/5 The Barn at Villa Venezia is a beautiful, rustic venue in Middletown, NY, conveniently located near multiple hotels. Our ~150 guests loved the experience, especially the cocktail hour food. While our wedding day was wonderful, several major issues leading up to it impacted our overall experience. Experience with Staff Prior to Wedding: 3/5 We booked our October 2024 date in July 2023, ensuring the Farmhouse was available both nights. For 15 months, we made payments, only to be informed—just three weeks before the wedding—that it had been double-booked for Friday night. After nearly two weeks of back-and-forth, The Barn covered hotel accommodations, Saturday morning transportation, opened The Tavern for getting ready, and refunded one Farmhouse night plus the ceremony fee. While appreciated, this was the bare minimum after breaking our contract and creating immense stress. Another issue arose one week out when we were told the other wedding that day would also use the Farmland ceremony space, preventing our staging company from setting up until 5 PM for a 5:30 PM ceremony. We were initially told the first-booked wedding had first choice, but without written proof, we had no recourse. Our groomsmen had to move items last-minute while guests arrived. Wedding Day Experience: 4/5 Hosting two weddings an hour apart was chaotic. No signage or direction led to guests from the other wedding interrupting our first look and attempting to enter the Farmhouse while I got ready. Stronger separation is needed. Despite this, the day itself was seamless. Our maitre d, Nicole, ensured we stayed on schedule, making the day stress-free. Experience with Staff Day of the Wedding: 5/5 Nicole was fantastic, handling every detail perfectly. The entire staff was kind, helpful, and attentive, with many guests praising their professionalism. Food: 5/5 The Barn offers an incredible New York farm-to-table experience. Guests raved about the extensive cocktail hour, with some mistaking it for dinner due to the generous portions. Enhancements are unnecessary unless hosting 250+ guests. Farmhouse Rental Experience: 2/5 While the Farmhouse itself was great once we accessed it on Saturday, the double-booking fiasco overshadowed our experience. It comfortably accommodated my 12 bridesmaids and served as an ideal after-party spot. If booking, triple-check availability, as a signed contract won’t necessarily be honored. @meredithshinephoto
