Ruth MalendaThe night manager Chrissy and the day manager Kim are both professional and kind. They explained the hotels policies clearly. They went out of their way to provide exceptional service. They deserve more support from corporate in terms of maintenance of the premises. With a modest investment this hotel could be quite wonderful. Our room had clean sheets and towels. The room was clean. However you can tell Wyndham has not invested any money on even basic maintenance for a long time. We checked in late after attending a concert and driving over a hour to get to the hotel due to traffic. When we checked in the key card we were given did not work the first time , or the second time after my husband walked down to the desk and got a replacement , or the third time after I walked down to the desk and got a replacement, or the fourth time when the night time desk clerk Chrissy ( who was very very nice -she did well under trying circumstances) came up and tried several key cards. The only card that eventually worked was her managers card which she could not leave with us. Therefore we never did receive a key to the room. At check out we mentioned that the toilet did not flush consistently and ran water most of the night because we thought they should know it needed to be fixed. We also mentioned we did not take the TV because they took a $100.00 breakage deposit and we wanted to make sure we were not charged for the non existent TV. We asked for a second floor room but it should be noted there is no elevator which could make getting to the second floor rooms hard if you have a heavy bag. All in all a big thanks to Chrissy and Kim. They were the best.

Laurence LangleySuper 8 in Middletown was a nice hotel. We played the Orange County Fair so it was very close. Hotel was ok. Rooms were decent. No breakfast. Just coffee. Staff was nice.
