R RI was admitted here on June 29th for a medical procedure. I had no issues with the care I received. The prep nurses were nice and had wonderful bedside manner. They made me feel very comfortable. The nurses in my room were excellent and came in as needed for meds and never made me wait long if I needed something. I commended the staff for all they did for me during my overnight stay. My only complaint was sending an Out-Of-Network of network physician into my room I never asked for and had no idea who he was. I then proceeded to bill me for his encounter. I am currently appealing it with my insurance as I refuse to pay for a service I never asked for or needed since this doctor had nothing to do with my medical procedure. He was just someone making thier rounds working under Garnet Hospital. Its just insane what you get billed for. Aside from that little issue. I had a good experience at this hospital.

Tanya LombardoI wanted to write this review because usually people only write negative reviews, but I wanted to give a great shout out to 2nd floor on the south side in the surgical area. All the nurses have been really fantastic and caring for my husband. He has been there for a close to four weeks and is still there. They truly have taken a personal interest and cared for his needs which we truly appreciate. But most of all I would like to give a great shout out to Dr. Seth, Dr. Drake and Dr. Harvack. These three surgeons have worked tirelessly for hours. They have looked at every angle and tried to really make the best decision so that he could recover. They have also respected our decisions in regards to healthcare as well. They were very detailed in their explanations so that we could know exactly what was going on. These doctors work so hard for the Hospital and for the team and you can tell they really care. I sure hope the Hospital really appreciates who they have in these men. You can tell that they really want to make a difference in the world. If you have one of these doctors when coming to this facility, you are in great hands.

Lisa WagnerOur 88 year old Mom received outstanding care for 3 weeks at Garnet. From admittance to the ER on May 16, post-surgical care, two weeks in acute rehab, until discharge on June 5th, she received excellent, compassionate care. She was scheduled for surgery with Dr Boateng for a fractured femur within 24 hours of being seen in the ER. Each staff member on 4 West was outstanding, we met personally with Nursing Director Jill, a wonderful professional as well. Every team member (Dr’s, nurses, N/A, OT/PT ) in 4 West was kind and considerate. After qualifying for Acute Rehab, we met Case Worker Ali Legendre who went over and above in every way, quickly answering texts, emails, our questions and handling all insurance approvals. Dr Senol and the nurses worked with us daily to modify pain meds to make Mom comfortable. The nurses and NAs were all kind and compassionate. The transport folks and meal deliverers all provided service with a smile! The facilities are clean, modern, and very welcoming. The OT and PT personnel were outstanding, urging Mom along at her own pace, while working toward progress. The secretary assisted in granting access to MyChart, and ran out to meet us in the lobby when we left something behind on discharge. The security guards and check in folks were all friendly and pleasant. There is even an extensive menu for meals…!! We hope the highest level of management across the hospital reads this review. People are quick to complain, have unreasonable expectations, and few recognize a positive experience. Thanks for the wonderful care you provided for Mom. She is important to us and will be able to resume her life, thanks to this incredible team and network of care and support. Kindness matters.
