If you are looking for a versatile spot to spend the afternoon, this park has it all. It features a well-maintained ballpark, a fun playground for the kids, and a spacious picnic area perfect for a weekend BBQ. The highlight is definitely the scenic trail that leads you past the wetland and the main lake. While the lake's fishing quality is a bit of a mystery—it seems like there might be no fish, or maybe just a few—that doesn’t stop the locals from casting their lines anyway! I managed to spot some turtles, chipmunks, and a few small fish during my walk, which the kids absolutely loved. For the hobbyists out there, this is an interesting spot for metal detecting. It is a medium-to-light trashy park filled with a mix of old and new pull tabs, bottle caps, and twist-off caps. If you decide to hunt here, I'd suggest you noch out your nickels and quarters unless you want to dig trash all day; instead, focus your signals on finding some lost rings. Overall, it is a beautifull and relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors. The wetland view is truly peacful and worth the visit.
Mar 15, 2026 · Google ReviewI went here as Realtor to take pictures and explore the community. I wanted to know what was in the community for the homeI listed. This was a really nice park. Plenty of seating a lovely tennis court and a pool that’s almost finished. The grounds were freshly manicured and the park was clean. The play area was full of kids. This is a really nice park.
Jun 25, 2025 · Google ReviewThis park is a hidden gem! They allow fishing (just make sure you have a permit), and there are plenty of peaceful trails to walk, perfect for getting some fresh air with your dog. Just be sure to clean up after them! The pool is a great bonus, especially in the summer. It's open daily from 12 to 6, and on Fridays they stay open a little later, which is perfect for an evening swim. Super affordable too, just $1 for resident kids and $4 for adults Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a chill, family-friendly spot to enjoy the outdoors.
Jul 18, 2025 · Google ReviewNice park with a fairly large covered area with tables and benches ideal for a meal even when the weather is less than ideal. The lake is calming and it seems you can fish. Playground for kids, several parking lots around the place and a walking trail, just watch out for poop (from the geese I guess)
Jun 5, 2023 · Google ReviewWe are sharing this park with our grandchildren so they can enjoy it like their parents did. Please don't remove the castle play area. This has been there since I was a young girl.
