So you’re thinking, “yeah right. A 3-star hotel with a 5-star rating?” From arrival last night to checkout this morning everything I experienced was beyond my normal expectations . Very friendly and informed checkin, lovely lobby, super clean room and bathroom (and I am very fussy), quick phone response and friendly extended checkout. Any time I need an overnight on way home from Albany ILL BE BACK.

Kind of a strange check-in. 2 women working the desk, both had their young kids hanging at the desk with the. Kids were well-behaved, but just a bit unusual. Rooms are nice, the carpets in the hall could stand to be replaced or at least deep-cleaned. Good enough for one night on the road.

Inconsistent cleaning service: I had to remind the front desk to please clean the room. One day the cleaning lady knocked on the door and I said we would be leaving in half-hour. We left, came back in the evening and the room was untouched.

This hotel offers a respite from the hectic madness of Stewart International Airport, and the overwhelming chaos of the greater New Windsor-Newburgh twin metropolis area. And I say this as someone who’s been to Schenectady! Imagine! This travel experience nearly broke me, and it was only the sanctuary offered by The Crossroads Hotel that pulled me in from the brink. And, I’d like to add, this hotel is so easy to find, as it located where two roads cross—just look for two crossing roads, and you’re there! Bingo! So easy 🏨👍🏻
