Dances with HorsesNow who doesn’t love a diner? Comfort food, in a comfortable atmosphere, at comforting prices—it’s perfection! Makes me remember those times while I was coming up, when Meemaw would unexpectedly look up from her ironing and exclaim, “That’s it Hoops, we’ve done enough chores today. Put that vacuum away and go and comb your hair, ‘cause we’re going out tonight!” And oh how I would race to get ready, because I knew where she was taking us—to the diner, of course, for cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes! And off she’d hobble to the car, as fast as she could what with her nearsightedness, cataracts, two bum knees, and that touch of the gout. Then she’d peel out of the driveway and floor it, hands gripping the wheel, weaving and swerving through the neighborhood, a woman on a mission. Many a time I’d wonder if we’d make it there in one piece, but Meemaw, god rest her soul, had the faith and determination of a mule team, and she was unstoppable. Ahh, such good times! And such good food! So visit this gem of a diner, and raise your glass to Meemaw, diner aficionado and queen of the road 🍔🥤🍟👍🏻

Juanetta JeffriesLovely family oriented diner, staff was so friendly and welcoming as were the locals! Stopped here for some brunch after a day of shopping at the Woodbury Common in NY. Definitely a place to go if you’re hungry and want something close for a cozy atmosphere.

Mary O'SullivanWe've been here twice in the last few weeks. Very good service. The food has been pretty decent. The atmosphere is fine. We went one day for lunch and another day for dinner. My daughter had the Greek chicken wrap both days and loved it. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for some good basic fare.
