BEST STAFF AND RIVER TUBING EVER! I've been on tubing and rafting trips before but this was hands down the most chill for new tubers and the most scenic. Intricate cliffs, fun but not dangerous fast water, and hilarious groups on the river. My group of 9 was running really late on July 4th, and the patient staff accommodated us, allowed me to change our reservation to the 1 mile trip and then stayed late for us! Will 1,000% be back (and on time). TY Silver Canoe!
Jul 6, 2026 · Google ReviewA brilliant afternoon on the Delaware river with Silver Canoe company, everyone was super friendly, the drivers, the shop staff and the people at the river . We had a wonderful experience even if our paddling was definitely rubbish and were able to navigate the short 3 miler with no problems. Seeing the Eagles fishing on the river and resting in the trees was a sublime and beautiful addition to our day. Would highly recommend .
Jun 25, 2025 · Google ReviewI cannot say enough of wonderful things about this place! 1) the staff was so kind and accommodating while dealing with a river delay. Also we needed a ride after our float and they gave us one into town since the taxis weren’t running 2) the river float was fantastic! I’m pretty sure silver canoe is the only one with tubes. It’s preferred over rafting 3) process to get in/out and bus transit is seamless 4) the port jervis train station is just 5 min drive away. So it’s a perfect day trip from nyc
Jul 6, 2025 · Google ReviewFriendly and accommodating staff. First time white water rafting, it was very beautiful and calm for the most part. I think this is the perfect place for a first-timer as I hear it can be a little rough in other rivers. I was able to bring a 58 quart cooler on the raft, which also seated 4 adults and 3 kids. Definitely will go back.
Aug 14, 2023 · Google ReviewDuring the summer, unless you want to paddle non stop for at least 4 hours, I would recommend tubing (3 miles) and not rafting (9 miles). You can also sit back a relax (minimal paddling) for the whole day, just be sure to bring enough water and snacks. We still had a great time, and would defenitely want to try it again when there a faster current.
