Anne CorbettThe nicest, most professional hotel staff that provides excellent customer service. I had a dead battery and they helped me to jump start my van. They saved me a ton of time helping me instead of me waiting for roadside assistance. Gorgeous views! Lakeside room is worth it if you are looking for a sunny morning room with a view. It is a lovely way to wakeup early and start your day. The rooms, hallways, entrance and exterior are always clean. Even winter weather didn't make a difference in the cleanliness of the interior. During my winter weather travels I encountered difficulty getting up the step hill to get up to the hotel. Be aware of the challenge to your driving skills when staying during icy snowy conditions. This would be a beautiful place during the fall when the trees are colorful. Finally if you are a dog person then sitting out on the second floor outdoor patio not only gives you a wonderful view of the lake, it also provides you a chance to see the dogs being walked during their stay at this dog friendly hotel.

Keese MinesI visit from Virginia all the time and this is definitely one of the top 5 best hotels in the area , the rooms are clean , check in is quick and easy , and the hotel is in a great location near a bunch of stores and restaurants and has a great view of a mountain overlooking a lake. I’ve probably stayed here 3 times , my longest stay being 2 weeks. No bugs , no stains, everything is great with this spot. 100% recommend staying.

hockeymom44x2Needed a hotel for the night getting into airport. I was very skeptical but ended up very pleased with this hotel. Red Roof has gotten a bad rep over the years, but this one might have changed my mind. The value was great for what we paid, the hotel and room were very clean. Had a beautiful view of the river. Was very quiet - was worried because we did see a lot of dogs. Don't count on much of a breakfast but there is free coffee 24 hours.
