This was a nice stop on the way home from a hike. The food and service is very good. I appreciated the more retro and localized aesthetic that I feel is missing from a lot of diners now. It was a nice mix of being busy and quiet as the noise level wasn't too loud. Overall, this is definitely a reliable place to grab a bite if you're on 84.

On our way home from visiting family WE decided to stop after seeing the sign on the thruway. It was a great experience all around. Service, food and atmosphere were exactly what you hope for. We even grabbed a piece of pineapple covered cheesecake for home.

I stopped in for breakfast, and everything was delicious. The coffee was great, and the food certainly did not disappoint. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding service from my waitress, Keri. She is hands down one of the best waitresses I’ve had in a very long time. She was attentive, personable, and offered excellent recommendations. Our conversations made the visit even more enjoyable and added a personal touch that is hard to find these days. It’s clear that customer service is a priority here, and Keri went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this diner to anyone looking for great food, great coffee, and even better service.

Very clean diner. Lots of seating. Seated quickly. Courteous wait staff. The bacon was crisp. The beer battered onion rings SO good! Train theme runs throughout the diner, for the railroad history in the village. WiFi password available and needed to use the internet. Would definitely recommend and return to this diner.
