We stopped at Dottie’s while passing through town, and it looked like a great spot for lunch. Since it was our first time visiting, we weren't entirely sure how things worked. When we walked in, we weren't greeted right away, so I approached a employee standing near the front podium. Before I could explain that we had a large party, she abruptly told us to just order at the counter and find a seat. It wasn't the warmest first impression and felt a bit frustrating, but thankfully, we found a table big enough to accommodate all of us. ​When we went up to the counter to order, the cashier took down everyone's individual names so our meals would be brought out together by couple—which sounded like a great system. However, as the food came out, the runners didn't have any of the names and ended up calling out dishes to figure out where they went. ​That said, the food itself was really good! My burger was excellent, my wife had the tuna sandwich which was great, the mac and cheese was wonderfully creamy, and the pulled pork hit the spot. The only dish that missed the mark was the chili, which was a bit watery and lacked flavor. ​Overall, Dottie's is a nice place with delicious food. Aside from that initial interaction at the front, the rest of the team made up for it, and we had a solid meal.

I love the diverse menu here. There are menu great dishes to choose from. The tofu bowl was delicious. Good coffee too. Every staff member was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area.

Exactly the kind of homey, comforting spot you want after hiking or camping! My eggs Oswego was great, I loved the seafood cakes and sauce it came with - not like any egg dish I’ve had before. The kielbasa scramble wasn’t bad, just was basically an omelet and felt like something I’d make at home. Chocolate chip cookie was thin and chewy and very sweet. If I’m hiking in the area again I’ll certainly be back.

You order inside at the counter but there is great outdoor seating and food was delivered promptly to our table. The food was delicious and very fresh. I had an Asian Ginger salad with chicken. Highly recommended. It is easy to make adjustments to the menu selections if need be and the menu is long with many options. A very pleasant place for lunch.

yummy food!!! definitely high in calories but this was amazing for my vacation. absolutely visit them! the portions are big as well as reasonable in price.
