Soooo glad I came here with my 3 year old. We went for the petting zoo, (3$ pp! And 5$ for some food, if you wanted), free hayride around the orchard (about 10 minutes), and lots of play equipment. So appreciative that it's affordable! Not too busy, we went before noon, and peaceful. Beautiful property and lovely store as well. My little and I will be back soon to see the baby goats again! Make sure to hit up the back of the store to see the honey making bees! Thank you apple ridge farm for the lovely time and affordability.
Aug 9, 2025 · Google ReviewApple Ridge Orchards is a fantastic place for apple picking — well worth the hour and a half drive from Brooklyn! I went with my sister, her husband, and my nephew, and we all had a great time. There was a wide variety of apples to choose from, and the orchard is very well maintained. It’s super kid-friendly, with adorable farm animals to visit and a fun hay ride that we all enjoyed. The apple cider donuts at the farm shop were a highlight — fresh, warm, and delicious. Perfect spot for a fall outing with family, and we’ll definitely be coming back again!
Aug 8, 2025 · Google ReviewI came here for a field trip with my 6th grade students. We visited in late October and there were still plenty of apples to pick. We were able to get a bag for each student that fit about 4-7 apples depending on the size. They had a great time but I did have some reservations. The hay ride was pretty boring. There wasn’t really any talking or tour through the apples, just a cold drive around the farm. The petting zoo had plenty of animals but once again we didn’t have anyone guiding us, telling us about the animals. I did enjoy the apple cider donuts and apple cider we were given along with our trip and the store had lots of options.
Nov 24, 2025 · Google ReviewApple Ridge is an amazing farm! Their staff is friendly and very accommodating. Farmer Joe taught our Scouts about bees and showed us the observation hive - what a unique experience! They sell local honey, honey comb, crumbles, candles and more. The farm store is stocked with delicious homemade pastas and artisan foods. My kids’ favorite part of the farm is the fun playground equipment and cuddly animals in the petting zoo. Peaches and apples are fresh off the trees and walking the orchards is very peaceful. We love it here!
Jul 25, 2025 · Google Review$3 per person entry fee and $4 per person hay ride fee , there’s a petting zoo at the bottom of the parking lot. It’s about a dollar per whole grain cracker that you feed to the sheep. The donuts are $9 for 6 or $18 for a dozen. The apple cider was great! Only recommendation I would make is dress comfortable, and sneakers that can get dirty and closed toe shoes for woman. The burgers are $13 and the brisket sandwiches are $18 which was great!
