Pennings Orchard is a lovely place to hold your next special event. The view is breath taking and the property is gorgeous. They have a nice pavilion and an area for a large tent. If your looking for an outdoor venue, Pennings is the place.
Jul 27, 2026 · Google ReviewCool place great cider but can be extremely busy in the fall/winter season—wish they had more seating
Feb 17, 2026 · Google ReviewAn absolute Hudson Valley gem! Pennings Orchard is one of those rare places that manages to capture everything you love about fall — but with a charm that lasts all year round. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and filled with that cozy, small-town magic you can’t fake. From apple picking to hard cider sipping, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the moment. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful — you can tell they care about their guests and the experience they’re creating. The food and drinks? Always top-notch. Their cider and farm-fresh bites hit every craving spot. And the views? Absolutely stunning. You could come here for the photo ops alone and still leave feeling refreshed. Whether you’re coming with friends, family, or on a cute weekend date, Pennings has a little something for everyone — live music, great vibes, and that unmistakable community feel that keeps you coming back. Truly one of my favorite local spots — it’s more than just an orchard, it’s a whole experience. 🍎✨
Nov 6, 2025 · Google ReviewIt's pretty quiet on the weekdays and a lot of the trees have been picked clean. (Usually you would want to go apple picking earlier between August - beginning of Oct)
Oct 17, 2025 · Google ReviewWe were there today and normally come much earlier in season. We purchased two bags for $90. I thought it was $45 for the first and less for the second. But at $90 we struggled to find apples to fill the bags. We drove to different lots looking to hit different parts of the orchard. If there are this few apples they really should close to picking and sell at farm stand. They did say we could get more apples from the apple bins to top off our bags but the bins were empty. I’ll still come back to this orchard because it is very nice but the $90 was excessive for a less than full bags.
