Christopher Jacobs Winery at Pennings Vineyards has become one of our favorite summer traditions. We visit several times every season with friends and family, and it’s always an amazing experience. The views are absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. They often have live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax with a glass of wine, one of their delicious cocktails, or even a local craft beer if wine isn’t your thing. During the summer, they also feature food trucks—including PBF, one of our favorite local restaurants from Montgomery—and an ice cream truck that our daughter always looks forward to. What really makes this place special is that it’s truly family-friendly. There are lawn games for the kids, and our daughter always has a great time meeting new friends while we relax and enjoy the scenery. Whether you’re looking for a date night, a family outing, or a place to gather with friends, this winery offers a welcoming atmosphere, gorgeous Hudson Valley views, and a memorable experience every time. We always look forward to coming back!

I had my daughters bridal shower last week at Christopher Jacobs Winery. Monica was amazing, she not only made the place look so beautiful and welcoming, she texted me the night before to make sure the setup was to my liking. It was the perfect place for the shower and I am so pleased at how smoothly the day went. These guys went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day!! I highly recommend having any event here, they really care about making sure you have the best day.

Chris and Monica hosted their first 5 course dinner catered by PBF Cafe in their new indoor venue. Each course was absolutely amazing and paired with the perfect wine. The musician playing in the background was the finishing touch to a perfect dining experience. Don’t miss out on the next one

My parents and I went Saturday around noon near the end of their season. We were greeted by the owners who are so welcoming and friendly. The wine tasting was affordable and fun. The sangria was great. The property is beautiful. The bathrooms are very clean. I believe you're able to bring food for lunch if you don't want to purchase their apples to snack on while you drink (governor's new law where you need to buy food with alcohol). Their apples are delicious though! My family and I will definitely be returning.

I had been here back in 2018 for a bachelorette party and they made the tasting SO much fun! Today I went for their weekly Friday hangout where they have a food truck and band come (it changes who comes so there's a range) and it was such a great vibe. We played cornhole and made some new friends, all while having amazing wine and sangria (Holy Cow is my favorite). The surroundings are breath taking, every worker is so nice and if you drop a fry, Po the farm doggo will be right there to clean it up for you. Highly recommend for anybody who is doing wine tastings or want somewhere chill to go on a Friday!
