I booked it simply because it was the only option in the area, but it absolutely exceeded expectations—and will have me seeking out Holiday Inn Express on future trips. The hotel is bright, airy, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also a standout—especially for a 3-star hotel buffet—with a solid variety and quality that went beyond what I expected. The location is another strong point: right off the highway, walkable to several dining options, and near a small shopping center, which made everything easy and convenient. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. A couple of minor areas for improvement: the bath towels could be larger, and the pool is fairly underwhelming. That said, this was an excellent value for the price. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable option in the area.

Keith HallMy name is Kieth Hill, and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Middletown, NY with my family and friends while attending a fireman’s banquet in the area. I have to say, we had an amazing time from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made our trip even more enjoyable. What really stood out to me was the incredible service at the front desk. Jasmine and Manny were absolutely awesome. They were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind to me and my family. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year, and I truly hope Jasmine and Manny are there again because they made our experience unforgettable.

Becky warrenWe stopped here on our way home from a vacation. The manager was so helpful checking us in and recommending food delivery before it was too late. She was also there the next morning when we checked out and was so friendly when we left. The room was clean and comfortable,. Breakfast was good and the attendant was working hard to keep the area clean.

Robert PortoOne of the better hotels I’ve stayed in for lacrosse tournaments. Don’t know if it was by luck or if the hotel is always quiet, but we didn’t hear anything all night or in the am. The entire hotel was sold out and I see why. Will definitely be booking here again. Only negative was my room had a huge ac condenser right in front of it. I believe it’s the only room that has the condenser in front of it. Stay if possible floor two or higher and you can guarantee you won’t have an obstructed view. The two women tending to breakfast were very very friendly.

Andrew BurkartThe hotel appears to be fairly new and is well maintained. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. There's very little to do within walking distance of the hotel, but there is a decent shopping and restaurant area within a short drive.
