From the moment you walk into Château Hawthorne, you can feel that this place is something special. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for, warm fireplaces, a grand and elegant dining room, and a beautifully curated space that truly lives up to its name. The vibe is cozy yet refined, making it perfect for both a special night out or a relaxed evening. The drinks were excellent, and the food absolutely delivered. I had the duck, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and my husband had the halibut-equally outstanding. For appetizers, we tried the avocado salad and the chicken delight, both of which were fresh, creative, and delicious. What really stood out was the value. The pricing is very reasonable for a “fancy restaurant”, on par with lower-tier restaurants in the area, but the experience, quality, and ambiance are on an entirely different level. One of the highlights of the evening was a tour of the wine cellar, which was incredibly cool. Hearing the story behind it, that it was dug by the owner years ago, made it even more special. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day and sat at the bar. It’s small, intimate, and incredibly charming, with a fireplace and a few cozy tables. While we were there, we had the scallops, and they were outstanding. We also ended up having a great conversation with another local couple, which just added to the experience. This place is a true gem. We’ve been meaning to visit for a while, and now that we have, it’s definitely going to be a regular spot for us.
Mar 22, 2026 · Google ReviewWe stayed overnight and dined here during the tuxedo renfaire and it was exceptional! The general manager Chris went out of his way to be personable, engaging, and making our stay really an experience to remember. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, a nice end to our travels and checking into the room. The following evening we did not eat at the restaurant but in returning from our adventures from the day the staff invited us to the bar, where we had a lovely time, welcomed with warmth and excellent beverages. We would 100% stay here again, it is a cozy location with people that care about your expierience.

Mar 22, 2026 · Google ReviewI cannot speak about the rooms/stay/amenities as I did not stay at the hotel. I did come here to eat at the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed. We started with the crab cake and the fried goat cheese appetizers, both were well plated, and tasted great. Definitely whet the pallet for what was to come. For mains, I opted for the horseradish encrusted salmon and my friend went with the filet mignon. Both were delicious, my friend graciously let me have a few pieces from her filet. And being that everything was so good thus far, we both opted for dessert. I went with the apple fritters, she went with the chocolate mousse cake. I can't speak for the mousse cake, but my apple fritters were tasty, lightly fried, encrusted with cinnamon and sugar. They were served warm, and with a scoop of ice cream on the side. They were enjoyed. I'd definitely go back to try more of their menu.
Oct 5, 2025 · Google ReviewOur experience at Chateau Restaurant was nothing short of amazing. This was our second time visiting; the menu offers a wonderful variety of delicious dishes, beautifully presented on elegant plates, something we truly appreciate! Our servers, Chris and Valerie, were both attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from start to finish. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef and kitchen staff, who turned out to be just as kind and caring as their food is flavorful. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, elegant and classic, making it perfect for a romantic date, a dinner with friends, or a family celebration. They have outdoor seating as well! Prices are more than fair and worth every penny. Highly recommend!
