Stopped here since we heard lots of Appalachian Trail hikers love this place and recommend it. It's not far from the AT trail head. Food delicious, drinks as well. Hikers don't forget to sign the logbook by the pool table at the window 😎 thanks for a lovely evening

I had a wonderful time. I was there on the 30th of April. The waitress was awesome! The food was awesome. The people were awesome. I was there and November of 2023 when I hiked the Appalachian trail and some hikers told me I should stop in there. It's a great time. Well it was. It was awesome back in 23 and it was awesome today. Thanks switz and and thanks for all the people there made. Some friends even sold a couple of books. This restaurant meant so much to me in 2023. I included it in my book The weight I carried by Steven c. Wright. Thanks again!

Although we are less than 5 miles from Wits End, we have never been here in the 9 years living in the area...so we wanted to try a new place last night. For apps, we had 3 half orders of wings...we tried the garlic parmesan, Carolina gold and the mango habanero. All were very good, I preferred the mango habanero by far. My daughter had the bacon cheeseburger, it was cooked perfectly (medium) and she said it was good. My girlfriend had the French Dip Panini and said it was delicious. I ordered the pork ribs...fall of the bone tender and the sauce was very good. We will 100% be back.

Stopped here as a thru hiker. Fun, friendly local crowd. Unionville has been the friendliest town for hikers and this bar is the same. Recommend the Wit burger for a big hiker meal. Let me charge my battery and has a hiker log. Definitely worth the stop.

Love this place! The bartenders were attentive and friendly and remembered my name! The chef himself came out to ask me how I liked the food. He makes a lot of his own creative recipes. The patrons were friendly too and the bathroom was clean! Just a local bar with top notch food and service. I know a lot of Appalachian Trail hikers stop here. Plenty of parking across the street as well. Oh, and the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had! I got one piece to taste and my mom sent me back for more! Lol. They have a black bean burger and Beyond Burger for vegetarian options. Monday nights are pool nights, Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays, Wednesdays are steak nights, and the first Saturday of the month is karaoke. Fish tacos were delicious and so were the sweet potato fries!
