Frank BrunettoVerkeerderkill park in Pine Bush NY is beautiful and quite. There is plenty of parking with Pavillions and playing areas for children. There is fields for soccer and baseball. Park is very clean. I was on a hiking trail. This trail was for moderately experienced hikers. The trail has many trip hazards and hikers should be aware of surroundings. Overall I had a wonderful experience here and recommend this park for families or just alone. Also places to barbecue.

In case you were wonderingMy girlfriend at the time took me to this park as I am new to the area. We road our mountain bikes around the spacious fields and thru the wooded trails. What an awesome time I had not only with my best friend but such a beautiful park. Clean, picnic areas, also ball fields for soccer and baseball. Beautiful creek runs through with compliments of a huge various species of trees and plants , ( if your into that sort of thing) I recently went to this park to just read a book and spend some quiet time alone. A few hours later, a group of people showed up as they were having a BBQ and they reserved the pavilion area, so I left at that point . Great walking trails, and bike trails. It's just a great place to go if you do not need all the bells and whistles. Oh, and it does have restrooms that were actually pretty clean. That's always a plus.

rebecca lawsonLove this park and really appreciate the great job new park ranger, Trevor, is doing to bring its maintenance back to a higher level. The last few years, the park had started to feel uncared for. The hiking trail was overgrown and some of the buildings and signs had deteriorated. Trevor has cleared and widened the paths and spruced up the buildings. It’s a pleasure to Hike there again.

Jen SegaloffIt's April, but it was cold today! A few flakes fell from the sky as we walked out dogs through the trail and then around the field. There were definitely muddy spots and a few standing puddles, but the trail is very well maintained, especially considering it is right after winter. My friend used the port-o-potty and said it was fine. There was a man there with his young boxer on a long line, but the only other people we saw were men stopping by in work trucks (PSEG, etc) to use the bathroom. We went to the pavilion to do a few hides for the dogs to search out. That area is very nice for picnicking and clean.

Natasha TIt’s a lovely park if you’re looking to do volleyball walk your dog take kids to the playground but if you just wanna go for a walk, the trails are limited and not very well kept up. For parties that the pavilions are great and there’s quite a few!
