M PreciadoThe cantaritos were delicious. The tripa, suadero, and carnitas tacos were excellent. What was dissapointing was the rice and beans both flavorless. Service was slow. Go for the tacos and cantaritos.

AJTulcingo has become my go to restaurant in Monroe, and for good reason. I come here almost every day, and every visit is consistently excellent. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. As someone who is vegan, I really appreciate how accommodating they are with vegan and vegetarian requests. They never make it feel like an inconvenience and are always happy to customize dishes. The family who owns the restaurant and the entire staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. They remember their regular customers, treat everyone like family, and create an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. It’s not just great Mexican food, it’s genuine hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine with outstanding service and a place that truly cares about its customers, Tulcingo is the place to go. Highly recommended! Gracias!! - Antonio

Jessica L.I’ve been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food, and trying this place kicked off my mission to explore more restaurants in Monroe. I’ve discovered a few other great spots that I’ll be reviewing soon, but this was one of the places that started it all. I ordered the steak burrito, which came with rice and beans, and it was SO delicious. The burrito was packed with flavor! The rice and beans were just as good made the meal even more perfect.
