A 54 acre all-season farm, established in 2020, nestled in the Black Dirt Region of Pine Island. A farm market, beautiful sunflowers, walking trails and corn trails, a country store with home baked goods, a future event venue, a beer garden when in season and much more! Thunderbird Farms is an absolute gem on Pine Island Turnpike. Their sunflower fields are breathtaking, with acres of bright, towering blooms that make you feel like you stepped straight into a summer postcard. What makes this place truly special is that you can dig up your own sunflower plants and take them home. It is such a unique, hands-on experience, and the staff makes it simple and fun. Just bring a pot or bag, choose your favorites, and enjoy the moment. Their sunflower festival and haunted house scene add even more charm, creating the perfect blend of peaceful nature and seasonal excitement. It is one of those places that feels magical no matter when you visit. The owner was fantastic, welcoming, helpful, and clearly passionate about creating a place people love coming back to. If you are anywhere near Pine Island, Thunderbird Farms is a must-visit. Beautiful, friendly, and unforgettable.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I am a huge fan of horror, and I am a huge fan of Halloween! Halloween is my favorite holiday, it is literally like Christmas for me. I always go to a haunted attraction every October. Last year, in October 2024, my friend/coworker discovered Thunderbird Farms, and we decided to give it a try. Let’s just say I was so impressed, that we came back again this season, October 2025! I didn’t think they could top how awesome it was the previous year, but they did! This place totally exceeded my expectations! Me and my friend bought the combo tickets, so we could go through both the Boo Barn and the Haunted Trails. It was such an awesome, spooky, scary, and fun experience. The Boo Barn was great! Such great scenery in there, such a spooky atmosphere, the animatronic decorations were great, and the actors were phenomenal. I got jump scared a bunch of times! But someone like me that loves Halloween, loves to get jump scared in a haunted attraction. That’s part of the thrill, and I immediately laughed after getting scared. Such a fun awesome haunted house. Next, the Haunted Trails were absolutely spectacular! This was my favorite attraction at the farm! It is so unique, and unlike anything I have ever experienced. Imagine a haunted hayride that goes far back into the dark spooky woods…. And now imagine taking the hayride part away, and walking those dark spooky woods. That is exactly what the Haunted Trails are like! It was so awesome! I was so Impressed at the lengths everyone went through to make this an awesome spooky experience. The trails go back so far into the woods, and parts of it are so dark and eerie! It is an awesome experience. The actors jump scared me every time. It is impossible to see where they are hiding in the darkness which scares you even more! And some of the scenery that is set up in the woods is so awesome. It is such a great spooky energy. Also, there are long, dark, eerily silent parts of the trail, and they do such an awesome job of building up suspense and anticipation! All of the actors look so terrifying in their costumes and makeup! The Haunted trails was definitely my favorite part of my whole experience. It is so unique! The only suggestion I would make, is to put Michael Myers back in the haunted trail! LOL!! I didn’t see him this year, and that mask always terrifies me lol. Besides the two main haunted attractions, there is also a warm cozy bar located above the haunted house. It is called the Boo Bar. You can go in there and warm up, and get food and drinks. And the whole bar is decked out in the greatest Halloween decorations!! It creates such a warm and cozy, yet spooky and fun environment. There is also a food stand outside, with the best homemade cider donuts I have ever had. And there are so many different spooky decorations on display throughout the whole property. And you can grab a seat anywhere outside, and just hang out and relax and take in the spooky scenery. They also have the scare actors walking around the main property, scaring people and building up the suspense while you’re waiting in line for the attractions! This is the greatest haunted house I have been to in many years, and I’m so happy that it is local to me. If you are a Halloween lover, you will not be disappointed by this place. It is such a wonderful experience, and you can tell that the people who make this all possible really love Halloween. There is a lot of love and care that is put into this attraction. It absolutely blew my mind, and this has now become a new yearly tradition for me.
