james millsI loved my stay at Storm King. It was like stepping back in time with the beautiful wooden architecture and the incredible scenery surrounding the property. It was not far from town but secluded enough surrounded by nature with a mountain not far away as you walked out the front door. It was a nice blend of old meets present. The bed was very comfortable and loved the old time feel with still having modern-day conveniences. I appreciated having a full frame steamer to hang my clothes to steam and iron. The kitchen was stocked with k cups and tea bags! Also noticed a nice ninja blender for smoothies as well as a toaster. The owner was extremely friendly and responsive! For my first time ever staying there i was very impressed with both the stay and the owner! Highly recommend!

Joel SuttonI stayed there recently during May 2026. First, the entire lodge is done up with an excellent rustic Eastern New York Hill country farm home feel, Its blended with modern amenities. Wi-Fi TV a new water filtration system as well as safety features around the property that don’t obscure the country feel but make the stay very comfortable. The property itself is surrounded by several forests and hiking trails in the area most notably, the Storm King Arts center , which is only a few minutes away. There are several colonial era landmarks to take in, including the academy at West Point, which is only a few minutes away from the lodge itself. All around the lodge are great views of the Hill country and the owners who live only a few minutes away in the off chance that something is needed are right there. Otherwise they just simply leave the guests to enjoy their experience. So whether you’re a single traveler, a couple or even a family, if it’s visiting ,vacationing or just relaxing, this lodge is an excellent experience for all of it.

Pat JussaumeMy husband Al and I shared a wonderful weekend at the Storm King Lodge. Beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. Our breakfasts were made to order, (gluten free modifications) delicious and served with class and wonderful conversation! Guest fridge is available with a plethora of beverages to help yourself to. A very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks again to our hosts Hal and Gay Janks for a memorable weekend.

Julia RudanskyWe had a lovely stay at the Storm King Lodge B&B. The owner was very welcoming and the room was charming, not to mention the great mountain views and breakfast spread. Convenient location minutes from Storm King Art Center and a quick drive to dinner spots on the Hudson. We'd definitely come back!

Virginia FitzpatrickA wonderful quiet place with a lovely garden and Schumann Grand Piano. I played it until the other guests arrived. Enjoyed fresh air as I sat on the large Veranda, sipped their well water and made my way through my unread magazines. Pigged out on a scrumptious breakfast with a variety of Fresh fruits. Our host - Hal - made a great oatmeal crust for me because I wanted to avoid the wheat flour in the fresh pastries. Hal went out of his to meet our druthers.
