Frank V ZGreat place to stop, good floating docks, although due to location can get some serious wake. Great location with some good restaurants nearby and and easy walk to Newburg. Good facilities and clean, great staff willing to do whatever possibly to make your stay enjoyable. Full disclosure it will get noisy on Fri/Sat nights with music and partying till 2am. Nice marina though.

Dawn AnglinWe decided to stop at this quaint park to eat our picnic lunch as we were traveling through town on I-84. There were several picnic tables, clean restrooms, and beautiful views. I hope the town has a plan to give it some TLC; even though it's cute, the park is certainly past its glory days.

Norseman Yacht ServicesNot a bad waypoint if you're pushing up the Hudson and have no better option. Great food spots primarily in Beacon and not bad water-front spots on the Newburgh side. Marina staff were great - Jamie, Don, and the team were very attentive and caring. Can't say the same about the riff raff that this marina attracts however. Immediately got the sense that transients weren't very welcomed 'round these parts with the local, resident boat slip holders. Less then 20 minutes after docking, someone casually leans up against our yacht and hangs on the bow railings. When nicely confronted about the situation, the drinking party spun the situation around, insinuating we had confronted "too hot" and they were "gonna throw us in the water to cool us off." Anyway - It's scenic. Note: grab the L portion of the finger pier if possible. Staying parallel to the Hudson, your boat will be thrashed, so bring tons of fenders. **Forewarning: if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful marina, this isn't it**

Jeff MorrisNewburgh is a town in transistion and hopefully keeps getting better. The marina has numerous good restaurants right next to it. However not much retail. The marina itself has plenty of dockage for big boats but doesn't power to support 100amp. If you only need 30amp you will be fine. The current can be strong and a little rolly from passing boats, barges or ships. The marina has pump out, shower facilities, but no laundry or fuel.
