Mike Galo (mybrothermike)Very chill and quiet place. Perfect for relaxing or bringing friends in to chat. Service was prompt and I was checked on 3 times excluding taking my order and payment which to me seemed perfect for my 20 min visit. It’s pretty affordable in regards to sushi and their fried gyoza is perfect. I’ll have to try the steamed gyoza another time. I had the OC roll because I love eel. The tuna is perfect, fresh and melts in your mouth and every sushi piece was intact. No breaking at all. After I received my check they brought me some pineapple. Very sweet of them and very kind to get a little dessert on my way out. I’d recommend it but I might actually just keep this place to myself.

PatrickSummary: Incredible sushi and an all around fantastic meal. We stopped here on a drive back to NYC and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous food decisions we have made. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and we would 100% recommend it. We were passing through Newburgh and decided to stop in for a quick bite. Really glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. It set a great tone for the whole meal. We ordered two specialty rolls and both were outstanding. The TNT was my personal favorite. Bold, well-constructed, and just delicious. The other roll, a shrimp tempura with sweet mango on top, was equally impressive. The mango added this perfect sweetness that balanced everything beautifully. The sweet potato tempura roll was also a great call and held its own alongside the more elaborate rolls. Beyond the sushi, I had the Yaki beef noodles, which were really delicious and a nice complement to the rest of the meal. A great option if you want something a little heartier alongside your rolls. We finished with mochi, which was the perfect way to close out the meal. Light, sweet, and just the right amount to end on a high note. This place punches well above what you would expect for a stop along the way. Whether you are a local or just passing through like we were, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Margie BallSushi is our go to, and being from California, we’ve eaten in sushi restaurants across the US. This place is in our top 3. Tempera, gyozas, rolls were amazing! I would highly recommend Itzmi, service was prompt and professional.

Sheyla MendozaIt's absolutely worth it. Everything was amazing and delicious. We got 3 rolls, a gyoza, miso soup and 2 sodas and the total came out to 60. They even gave us pineapple after we eat on the house.
