Andrew CollierOur stay was, sadly, only one night. But it was amazing. The property is beautiful, the view across the Hudson river is mesmerizing. And the service was unbelievable. Lynn and Bill are gracious hosts and their thoughtful, considerate attention to detail added to our experience. We are looking forward to staying with them again for a long weekend in the future.

V6471JAjanebWhat a wonderful stay we had! The setting was lovely, and Lynn and Bill were the perfect hosts. The breakfasts they made each morning were delicious, varied, and fueled us through our fun and busy days. There were lots of attractions within an hour's drive: West Point, Storm King Sculpture Park, FDR Home and Presidential Library, the Culinary Institute of America, Hudson River cruises, local wineries and more; our hosts had a guidebook listing many of the high points, along with restaurants and their own recommendations. We also enjoyed the vista of the Hudson River from our comfortable room when we returned from our excursions!

JackGalambMy wife and I make an annual fall trip for our anniversary have stayed at many B and Bs, and we would rate HRC near the top. We stayed with several other couples who felt the same. Innkeepers/owners Bill and Lynn are accommodating and gracious hosts. Amenities included snacks and wine; treats such as homemade brownies and muffins were absolutely delicious and baked daily. Breakfasts were of restaurant quality. Individual preferences and dietary needs were no problem. The rooms were nicely appointed with beautiful furniture. We stayed in the Hudson Room, the largest, with a very comfortable king-sized sleigh bed, and a balcony with a spectacular view of the Hudson River Valley. We took a tour of the US Military Academy at West Point, a 5-minute drive from the B and B. We also had a gourmet lunch at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), at Hyde Park, a 55-minute drive. The Hudson River Valley has other attractions such as wineries and historical sites. However, we found recreational shopping (e.g., antiquing) all but absent in the area. Tips - Book accommodations early if you plan to visit during football season, and the bus tour of West Point is highly recommended but requires reservations.

Lou DePattoHeaven on The Hudson River If you’re looking for the perfect escape then look no further than The Hudson River Crest BnB. Staying in the Hudson room you’ll experience a piece of Heaven overlooking the Hudson River with a beautiful shared upper deck. The room is immaculate and has a very large outstanding bath suite. Bill and Lynn are the host and they are very genuine wonderful people who will make sure that you’re happy and have everything you need. Starting with an amazing daily breakfast by filling you up with freshly prepared organic dishes to jump start your day. Lynn’s homemade goodies go along perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea and are available all day along with snacks and fruits never-mind the complimentary wine. This BnB is truly a gemstone and Bill and Lynn are the very best host that one can ask for during a visit. So don’t hesitate if you’re looking for that piece of Heaven and make your reservation, you won’t be disappointed.

JANEK547What an amazing bed and breakfast. Last year we stayed for one night and last week were delighted to return, this time for 3 nights, we’d love to stay longer another time.|The house is set in a beautiful garden overlooking the Hudson River and forested banks on the other side of the river. We had use of tables and chairs to sit out in the warm sunshine, wine, snacks, coffee and tea.|Our room had its own deck also overlooking the river. The room and ensuite bathroom were spotless.|The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. Fresh fruit, warm homemade muffins (gluten free made for me) and a delicious cooked breakfast.|Bill and Lynn told us lots of local attractions and recommended several good restaurants. They always sent us off with boxes of homemade goodies including homemade granola bars for our wait at the airport.|We would thoroughly recommend this fabulous bed and breakfast and do hope we can visit again from the UK.
