Brian GunningIn the three years my son has been coming here for training and as part of the travel program, he’s gone from a timid hitter and fielder, hoping the ball wasn’t hit to him to a LL All-Star C/P/1B. The supportive coaching and emphasis on development, both physical and mental, reinforces his love of the game and has helped him become a confident player.

Daniel Valenti (D G????)If you have potential, they will notice and make you good. If you are good, they will notice and make you great. If you are great, they will make you Amazing!! This is the place you want to go for anything baseball, softball related!! Trust me!!!!! I've been to many many places!! Frozen Ropes in Chester N.Y., is a beautiful, state of the art facility, and have staff that have been in the Majors. The staff and owner are super dedicated in what they do!!! I'll never take my kids anywhere again except here!! I'm not being over the top with my review! I'm so glad to have such an amazing place to have my kids be a part of!! If I could give a million stars I would!!!

BlackBearsTryoutsFrozen Ropes in Chester was a place I was trying to bring my Softball Organization to for years. We are from Canada and COVID prevented us from attending Frozen Ropes tournament for a few years now. Black Bears Girls Youth Softball has been partnered with Frozen Ropes for over 4 yrs now. I cannot express enough how fortunate we are to be associated with Frozen Ropes and Tony Abbatine and his team. If you’re wanting to change the direction of your program or child. Heather PI don’t usually write reviews, but this one is well deserved. My son’s first experience with baseball through our town’s little league was honestly rough — he dreaded going, wouldn’t leave my side during games, and couldn’t wait to go home. We were hesitant to try again, but we signed him up for the born to play camps, and I’m so glad we did. Coach Ray has completely changed my son’s relationship with baseball. Not only does Danny now love playing, but he also looks forward to camp each day and has made real friendships with the other boys. Coach Ray is patient, fun, and incredibly encouraging — exactly what kids this age need. He focuses on building skills in a way that’s low pressure, confidence-boosting, and most of all, enjoyable. You can tell Coach Ray genuinely loves what he does and has a real gift for working with kids. His camps have been such a positive, affirming experience — we’re so grateful for the way he’s helped our son fall in love with the game. Highly recommend!
