This is a great little walking trail to get out and enjoy nature. Its paved so good for strollers. Its heavily frequented by dog walkers and today fall was in full, peak color along with 70 degree temps. Simply divine!
Oct 9, 2025 · Google ReviewThis place was a sweet surprise. Trails are fully paved and wide. Beautiful expansive views in all directions at the top. Offers options for your walk: Choose an easy relatively flat loop, a more difficult loop with a steep hill (to the views), or do both for a longer walk. A couple of nice, large gazebos offer comfortable resting spots. Know before you go: no restrooms.
May 13, 2026 · Google ReviewIt’s an easy, beautiful and tranquil trail. The woods are dark and deep. The roads are neat and newly laid. Vast meadows are hill views add to the peaceful vibes. Loved it. The view from the gazebo is breathtaking.
Jun 18, 2024 · Google ReviewRather small but tranquil and well maintained walking paths for those looking for a little peace and quiet. Two paths to choose from including a shorter but much hillier path which takes you to a charming gazebo with decent views. The longer but more flatter path are better served for those with mobility issues. Several benches are found along the path along with a couple of Gazebos. No facilities are available though. A couple of smallish parking lots are available on either end of Ward Ave.
Sep 13, 2022 · Google ReviewA trip to the trail helps bring a sense of relaxation. The Crawford Walking Trail is an easy path for those who are new to outdoor hiking. Being an easy trail, there are more chances to bump into people. Yet, if you enjoy less traffic, then it would be better to find another trail. Otherwise, the Crawford Walking Trail does provide pleasant views and a wide path that will be useful in the summer for seeing snakes. Indeed, this trail does have snakes during the warmer seasons. Yet, as long as you stay on the blacktop, then you will have a higher chance of seeing the tricky creatures. Just note, always be careful of wildlife no matter what season or where you decide to hike. With that said, enjoy your next hike and stay safe!
