Steve SchwinnGood hiking trails with scenic views. No Visitor Center. Great views of the Moodna Viaduct. NOTE: as of 3/2025 the Otterkill Road parking area is closed due to construction. You can park at the unpaved Schunemunk Meadows trailhead about a mile east on Otterkill Road.

AWonderful trail that's mostly well marked. Good variety of scenery. Great views on the mountain top. Certain trails make you cross a stream using rocks in the water, so if there has been heavy rain you may want to consider waterproof shoes.

Khala GraceAbsolutely enjoyed this hike! Though it's definitely not for the faint of heart. Schunnemunk has many inclines and tricky terrain to descend. If you're up for the challenge then I highly recommend this trail!
