We went to try this restaurant for the first time today because it looked very nice from the outside; unfortunately, it was not a good experience at all. As for the "carne asada," more than half of the steak was just fat. We tried to complain about this hoping for a replacement either a different cut of meat/different portion that wasn't so full of fat, or simply to see what solution they might offer us. Their response basically boiled down to telling us that we didn't understand that "the cow is just one animal" and that they couldn't "change the animal." Haha are you serious? Is that really the solution or response you give to a customer? Finally, after insisting they should give us something better than that, they offered us a discount—which, when reflected on the bill, amounted to a whopping $6. Lol. The pork quesadilla was almost empty inside, and the sour cream had a somewhat strong, off taste. Oh, she also tried to tell me that “carne asada” is always like this. Are you sure that more than half steak is always pure fat? Because I’ve eaten at other places, including other Mexican restaurants and I assure you the experience was very different and what you are saying is not correct. You be the judge, based on the photo of the meat that I’ve posted below. Thank goodness we didn't try anything else. It was very disappointing; they really ought to care a bit more about actually listening to, trying to understand, and providing solutions for their customers, instead of giving responses like "they can't change the cow." Lol.
