Located in the D&H Canal Park with a self-guided walking tour of the canal, exhibits on the canal and early film making, special exhibits, and events. Hiking, fishing and picnicking. Apr-Oct. Sun, 12-4pm. Park open dawn to dusk daily.

I gave it all stars just because the place itself seems awesome. I lightly explored around the river edge and seems there is a lot of history here. The museum and shops were all closed but they are very well maintained and i hope to come back when they are open.

Feb 7, 2026 · Google ReviewWhat a little gem of a museum and David Lawrence (my old Broadway colleague!) is a font of knowledge on that area, the D&H Canal as well as the early film industry in the area and other fascinating innovations from tiny little Cuddebackville! We will return many times and hope to be able to catch a concert on the lawn next time!
