First time visiting this place. It was a bit smaller than I expected. Overall it was good. It looks like quite a few local parents will go there to let their kids run amok pretty much unsupervised for a while before taking them home. However, for the most part the kids were pretty good and gave younger ones space. Downstairs is more like a play area with different themed spaces and a smile tiny tots space which has a gate. Upstairs is more science oriented and apparently a fairly large aquarium is in the works. There is a snake and a hedgehog to look at now. Why they chose a hedgehog is a bit beyond me, hedgehogs are nocturnal so that little critter will rarely be doing anything but sleeping when kids are there to look at it. The young woman working there (was there really just one employee?) was working very hard constantly cleaning up after the kids and meticulously cleaning everything toward the end of the day. Like I said, overall pretty good, I think $15 per person is a bit steep, I know there is a membership, but a family entry fee would be nice as well.
May 1, 2026 · Google ReviewSo fun for the 8, 18 and 48 year old! With a great location for the Hudson River Walk and glass elevator. We stayed upstairs for almost 2 hours with all the cool hands on experiences and walked over the Hudson to end the day. It was amazing!
Jun 26, 2026 · Google ReviewWe went to the mid Hudson discovery museum for my daughter's 4th birthday I found it for good things to do in the Hudson Valley. It's cute when you walk in it doesn't look like much, but it keeps getting better with a rock wall, different job stations and then when you go upstairs it's a bunch of different science experiences. I gave it a four because we spent $45 for me my husband and my daughter but couldn't really spend more than an hour here. It was cute, we had fun, but just don't see spending a ton of time here for the $15. I wish the science experiments upstairs were things you could spend a little more time on, some didn't work or were confusing. My daughter had fun though and that's what matters.
Apr 23, 2026 · Google Reviewnot a bad place at all. plenty to do for kids. I took my 2-year-old and spent 3 hours there and could have spent a lot more. we went on a Friday early afternoon. I will say that it does seem to have a lot of homeschool parents and kids which are very clicky and parents are chatting. while the kids are running all over the place. there is a vending machine for soda and snacks bathrooms including a family room. we will definitely go back but wait till later on the day when it is a little bit emptier
Mar 6, 2026 · Google ReviewBeyond impressed how this place is kept with the amount of traffic coming through. We had an absolute blast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Appreciate the food rules as well to maintain the cleanliness. We loved it! Thank you for a very special day for my family!
