The Orange County Arboretum started doing a free showing of Christmas lights through their outdoor facility for the holidays. It was amazing. I loved walking the grounds and seeing all of the beautiful lights they had. They had Christmas music playing in the background and it made you feel really festive. It was outdoors so you have to make sure you bundle up and it's about a 10 minute walk through if you're taking your time. My family and I went to city winery Hudson valley first then it was a 10 minute drive over to the arboretum and it was a perfect festive add on! My sister and I also visited their grounds in the summer and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Beautiful walks, we went and there was a lot of work being done, wish we were there later in the season to see the outcomes! So many amazing people to make the place look magical!

We visited on 5/30/26 I'm sure we missed the first bloom. There were still some pretty flowers, plants and such a beautiful piece of land.

We missed the full bloom of the cherry blossom trees this. I believe the first week of April would have been the peak. Beautiful flower gardens great spot for graduation pictures or pictures in general. Pull right up close to the gate and it automatically opens.

Awesome local nature lover/ florist dream spot. I can't believe it is free! When you pull up to the gate it automatically opens and you drive up to the decent size parking area. There are many seating areas and picnic spots which we plan to return with family to do. They were under construction during our visit but so many to see that you barely noticed. Great fountains and walking paths. When we visited there were only a handful of people there so we basically had the place all to ourselves! Highly recommend to get your steps in and some fresh air!
